Ruger .22 Charger Pistol

A steady flow of new firearms is rolling out of the Ruger factory as they gear up for SHOT Show 2015 where they will inevitably make new additions. But, why way for the big week to show what is generally the largest amount of new pistols, rifles, and revolvers released from one individual manufacturer.

22 Charger Pistol
Launching on Christmas Day, Ruger introduced the Ruger 22 Charger Pistol, which is offered in a standard wood, steel, and polymer model, as well as a Takedown version with a "Green Mountain" Laminate. The later can come in quite handy for those looking to easily stow their .22 in a backpack and clearly drawing inspiration from their popular 10/22 Takedown. Each model includes a 10 inch barrel, A2 Style Grip, as well as a Picatinny Top Rail for optics. They come in at just over 3 Pounds and 2 ounces and the barrel is threaded for standard AR-15 muzzle devices with a 1/2X28 threading. It comes complete with a 15 round magazine. The MSRP is just over $300 for the standard and an additional $100 for the takedown option. View full specs at
