Ghost Gunner Miniature CNC Machine for 80% Lowers

You probably remember Cody Wilson and his Defense Distributed from the press tour he did showing off his first 3D printed gun called the Liberator. He has since gone on to create 3D printed AR-15 Receivers that can function to some extent. Defense Distributed has now released a miniature tabletop CNC Machine called the Ghost Gunner, which allows the end user to more easily finish the machining on 80%  Lower Receivers for AR-15 rifles.

Ghost Gunner 80% Lower Receiver CNC Machine

Defense Distributed states that no CNC experience is needed when utilizing design files in conjunction with the Ghost Gunner. The no experience aspect and the small footprint is intriguing. However, the price point may be a bit high unless you are accustomed to turning out large numbers of firearms for personal use or utilize the Ghost Gunner for other machining, which may be possible with the right files. The product information notes:
"Ghost Gunner automatically finds and aligns your 80% lower receiver to the machine, with simple installation instructions, point and click software and all required tools. Just follow a few simple instructions to mount your 80% lower receiver, tighten a couple screws (with simple tools we provide), and on day one, Ghost Gunner can help you legally manufacture unserialized firearms in the comfort of your own home.
