Second Generation SORD Light Field Anorak

SORD released the Light Field Anorak as their most advanced military outerwear garment. Through end user feedback, they went back to the drawing board and made it better for their new Gen 2 design. The LFA retains its highly water resistant MultiCam Delta fabric with a Schoeller Nanosphere treatment. The ability to repel water is quite impressive as we have seen with prior garments for many years now. New features includes added hood height to fit over head and ear protection. A steeper peak on the hood sheds rain better. The stitch line was removed along the shoulders to improve water resistance and for added comfort when worn with load bearing equipment.

Some of the finer points of the Light Field Anorak have also been improved including matching Velcro and rounded corners on the bicep pocket. The pocket closure now allows for one handed opening. The Chest pocket is now made of Omega mesh for added ventilation. It is also not as deep and is stitched down to keep it from rising up.

The LFA G2 now has pit zips from the underarm to the waist. The 330 Cordura Nylon elbow reinforcement has been widened and turned inward for added protection when laying prone. The wrist cuffs have been widened to fit over a watch or other wrist devices. The rear of the anorak has been lengthened at the beaver tail for added weather protection when stretched while bending over.  The Delta material does have NIR protection. Limited quantities are now available in MultiCam at
