TrackingPoint AR Series Coming to SHOT Show

One of the big splashes at SHOT Show 2013 came from TrackingPoint and their Precision Guided Rifles. They had one of their rifles on hand at Range Day and it works as advertised on 1000 yard targets. Initially they were offering rifles chambered in .338 Lapua Magnum and .300 Win Mag. Today they released a teaser for the next caliber in an AR-15 style rifle. The big question now is if they are going with the popular 5.56, .300 Blackout, or perhaps both, which would make for a good Series. We would like to see a .308 as well, but there isn't any hints of that just yet.

In their Remington 2020 Digital Optic System collaboration you will have similar Tag and Track capabilities for multiple calibers including .308 and .223, but there is still some room for error with the trigger pull. With a complete caliber dedicated system most of the learning curve is reduced completely and the pundits can decide if that is a good or bad thing.
