MPA 308BA Rifle Revealed

This past Summer Masterpiece Arms was showing computer renderings of their first .308 chambered rifle. Today they had their official release of the bolt action MPA 308BA. The final model features their own MPA Tactical 6061 aluminum chassis with a Remington 700 type bolt design with a Stiller's Precision TAC Series action. They are also integrating their own Spencer Precision barrel after acquiring the company last year. What better for a precision rifle than the Magpul PRS Stock with a custom adapter integrated.
MPA 308BA Bolt Action Rifle
The MPA 308BA rifle integrates a front mounted bridge with Picatinny rail that is also included at the six position. The rifle also features a 20 MOA scope rail. The barrel can be provided with straight or helical fluting and manufactured with 416, Condition T stainless steel with button rifling. The Stiller's Precision TAC Series action is only provided for MasterPiece Arms and has a bolt-to-action fit of .0005 or less and is manufactured in a one-piece design with the bolt lugs and handle machined from a single piece of 4140 heat-treated steel. The bolts feature spiral fluting with a nitride or armoloy finish and are hand fitted to each action.

The rifle comes complete with a counter twist muzzle brake, AICS or Accuracy International 5-round magazine, and jewel or Timney Trigger. The rifle has an MSRP of $3,475. Look for additional calibers in the near future.
