We thought this was an interesting infographic released by Rostec, the Russian State Corporation behind a lot of the technology and production of equipment for their country's Ministry of Defense. This is a quick representation for Russia's Warrior Uniform, which started testing in August and will continue till November.
The Warrior uniform will be distributed next year and have a total weight of 44 pounds with all standard equipment included and will replace the previously proposed FELIN uniform system from France. As you can see they are focusing on several of the same developments in communication, load bearing, and protective equipment as other nations for their future soldier projects. Interestingly they are non-committal on the AK-12 despite recent announcements, but that is an ever evolving story.
