Saab Barracuda Awarded $4.1 Million Camouflage and Deception Contract

Last Month Saab Barracuda was awarded with an $8.2 Million Dollar contract by Canada's Department of National Defense for their MultiSpectral Camouflage Net known as MCS or Mobile Camouflage System. Now the U.S. Army has announced an award of $4.1 Million for Camouflage and Deception Equipment to Saab Barracuda. While it was not specified as to which of Saab's concealment technology was being purchased, there is a wide range of options from nets to cover vehicles as well as ghillie suits, tents and other producsts with advanced capabilities protecting from the detection of thermal and infrared signatures as well as visual and radar exposure.
