Full Scoop on SORD Light Field Anorak

About a month ago we had a sneak peek of the Light Field Anorak (LFA) from SORD about a month ago and the full details have now been released.

SORD Light Field Anorak

The LFA is manufactured with Duro Industries MultiCam Delta Fabric, which is widely utilized in soft shell apparel for its hydrophobic capability with a Schoeller NanoSphere treatment that permanently sheds water and dirt. The fabric also has a moisture wicking anti-microbial knit fabric layer for a comfortable wear while active. It is also treated to protect against NIR detection.

The SORD Light Field Anorak weights in at just over 1.5 pounds for a size medium and compresses down to the size of a 1 liter Nalgene Bottle for easy stowage when not in use. The Delta fabric breathes well and also provides a warm layer. There are two internal elastic cords with cord locks at the waist for a form fit to trap heat. A close fit hood provides additional protection with a pull tight drawstring, zip closure, and storm flap. An hook and loop cuffs as well as an extended panel at the rear also helps keep out the elements.
