Colorado Senate to Vote on Ban of Magazines Over 15 Rounds

The Colorado State Senate has passed through the measure to ban firearm magazines over 15 rounds. They will also be banning shotguns that hold more than 28 inches of shells. These measures will still have to pass a floor vote after the weekend is over, but it appears the writing is on the wall and Magpul could be packing up shop soon. While we heard many say this would never pass in Colorado, it is beginning to look like the worst is just about here with a few formalities in the way.

Be sure to contact your State Senators and Governor over the weekend if you live in Colorado to press the point as to where your vote lies for this legislation. You can view the complete debate provided by the Denver Post in the video below if you are into that kind of thing. It seems like a moot point when logic is overlooked. If you don't live in Colorado, be proactive on the state level and contact your local representatives to let them know that this type of legislation should not stand in your state. We don't need this type of thought spreading across the nation.
