Snake Hound Machine .308 VEPR SASS

A lot of rifle manufacturers are gearing up to show off their best at SHOT Show. Snake Hound Machine is no different, but they also have some different projects in the works. This one in particular is a .308 VEPR AK SASS Rifle.

As the name implies, SHM built it on a VEPR 308 and focuses on developing a more reliable Kalashnikov variant of the M110 Semi-Automatic Sniper System. The rifle includes an upgraded trigger, action, safety, and charging handle. It also features an custom aluminum hand-guard, TWS aluminum dust cover rail for scope mount, US Palm AKBG Grip sidefolding Magpul PRS stock, and mil-spec bottom rail. To cap things off, they include an Ares Armor EFFIN-A Compensator.

In its complete form the .308 VEPR SASS weighs in at 8.5 pounds and promises a .25MOA. The VEPR has 5, 10, and 20 round magazines and is set up to use the Ares Armor LR Sling. The total package will include a Trijicon Accupoint TR20-2 3-9X40 Mil dot Riflescope, LaRue Vertical Split scope mount, and 45 degree RMR red dot.

The rifle seen here is one of two, with the second to be ready for delivery in 6-8 weeks. For further information and ordering contact:
