The (High Altitude Parachute Operations) Rig was developed in collaboration with SORD Australia and members of the Australian military free fall cadre. The HAPO rig incorporates a joey pouch for the 3 X 30 round shingle that is included with the package, along with a commander panel that incorporates a see-through Magellan GPS Pouch, cyalume loops, and map pocket. Routing webbing is placed along the shoulder straps to run the antenna and cables from a radio.
SORD also throws in a Radio Pouch, Hook knife combo pouch, and Armour carry bag. They note that the rig can also be utilized as a vehicle mounted rig.
