We first introduced the SOG SlimJim at SHOT Show when they were first released at the beginning of the year. The ability to be concealed with a featherweight design impressed on us its great viability as an every day carry knife. The low-profile technology assisted folder is extremely discrete with a thin deep carry pocket clip and overall length of 7.4", and weighs in under 2.5 ounces. The larger SOG SlimJim XL extends this length by 2 inches with a negligible increase in weight.
The SOG SlimJim and XL version are both available with a Satin or Hardcase Black Finish. The thin lightweight SlimJim consists of a blade made with AUS 8 Steel and a 420 Stainless Steel Handle. Ridges are present around the handle for assisting with grip and a double lock safety ensures the blade is secured when open.
