The Olympics have just kicked off and Ruger has announced how they will be helping out the US Shooting Team. Their 10/22 Takedown was released earlier this year to much fanfare due to his easy to disassemble two-part design. They are now honoring the US Shooting Team with a special edition of the rifle. Only 5,000 rifles will be made available through TALO Distributors Inc.
A $20 donation to the Shooting team will be made with each purchase. It will also feature a unique serial number starting with GOLD-0001. The rifle has an aptly blue color and comes with a special edition red carry bag.
