Kryptek L.E.A.F Highlander Camouflage Clothing Now Shipping

If you have been waiting to get your hands on the latest Kryptek L.E.A.F camouflage then you can now pick up select outdoor wear in the Highlander pattern for immediate shipment at Cabela's. Kryptek is thus far the only finalist for the U.S. Army Camouflage Improvement Effort to release a pattern for commercial use, which is perfectly in line with the solicitation in the event that any of their submitted patterns are selected for use by soldiers.

Kryptek Highlander Camouflage - Sherpa Grid Fleece Pullover

There are currently nine outdoor wear products available for purchase with only a small selection now in stock, which includes the Kryptek Sherpa Grid Fleece Pullover and Koldo Blockade Rain Jacket seen here. It is certainly interesting to see this camouflage hit the market ahead of the rest while the Army is still conducting final testing. Crye Precision is the only finalist to not yet show what patterns have been submitted and ADS Inc. nor Brookwood Companies Inc. have given any indication of immediate commercial availability.

Kryptek has had much success with their Mountain Mimicry camouflage, which is also available through Cabela's. The major outdoor retailer has expanded their reach with camo that falls outside the traditional  hunting patterns like Realtree and Mossy Oak. Cabela's also carries the Gore Optifade Concealment line of patterns patterns, which was designed with major input from Guy Cramer whom also developed the US4CES patterns for ADS Inc. Both Kryptek and Optifade patterns have been utilized by Special Operations Forces, so the dual use is already apparent.
