Hi-Tec Sierra Lite I WP Hiker Boot Review

The Outdoor Gear TV laid down a great video review on Hi-Tec's waterproof Sierra Lite hiking shoe. We have covered the ion-mask technology in the past which is also utilized by Magnum Boots for which Hi-Tec is a parent company. This waterproofing provides a permanent solution without compromising the way the shoe breathes.

Hi-Tec Sierra Lite I WP
Light is right these days and their V-Lite technology takes away any non-essential fluff but still provide the support needed in a hiking shoe. Combine this with the widespread Vibram sole and a not so flashy design that can be found with a lot of commercial hiking boots and you have an overall great sh0e. The Sierra Lite I WP definitely has a higher price point, however it is comparable with similar shoes on the market which is well worth it for the newer materials and construction technology before it gains widespread acceptance. Of course what do we know, we just want something that isn't clunky and performs well when hoofing it up mountains and it is certainly no secret that dry feet are happy feet.
