New Zealand Army Introduces HK GMG

With only a few thousand soldiers in the New Zealand Army it is a small force in comparison to others across the globe. However, they recently picked up Heckler & Koch's automatic long range Grenade Machine Gun which can fire 40mm grenades and certainly work as a force multiplier with a two many team being able to transport the entire packable system.

The HK GMG is able to fire off 340 grenades per minute with a range just under a mile. This is a great video showing their soldiers testing out the new weapon, which was first designed for the German army. With their support as a major non-NATO ally, we can definitely say this is a positive introduction to their forces.
