SPECOPS Field Medic Back Pack PRM-1

We had previously touched on SPECOPS PRS-1, which is the paramedic selection for the Polish Army. There is a distinction for paramedics who are considered the basic first aid professional, while medics have the the more in-depth medical experience and are often doctors. The Plecak Ratownika Medycznego v. 1 or Field Medic Pack Version 1 in English is individual fielded to one per platoon. 

The Pack is designed with 1000 Denier Cordura with an IRR treatment and is standard issued Coyote Brown or wx. 93 Pantera camouflage. It utilizes military grand fasteners including YKK Zippers customized with the SPECOPS logo. The pack utilizes an aluminum frame for added structure and can be adjusted to the individuals height and includes a waist belt for comfortable long term carry. The frame also incorporates a hydration cover for a water bladder.

The main compartment has a capacity of about 40 Liters, extremely rigid, and protects contents from hard impact. It is wide and deep enough to store a neck-restraint collar without folding. It opens up 180 degrees to allow for easy access to internal pouches. All internal pouches are removable with 9 velcro mounted pouches in place. There is also a large panel for documents, maps or triage cards.

On the top of the pack there is a small IPMED style pouch for quick access necessities. On the left and right sides of the pack there are additional cargo pouches attached via PALS for extra storage, each adds about 10L to basic capacity. To the front of the pack there is another large flat pouch, also removable via PALS, which adds about 15L of storage capacity. All internal surfaces of the pack are Velcro lined for easy arrangement of small pouches.
