The legacy left by Army Ranger Pat Tillman has meant a lot to many veterans who have received financial aid through the Foundation started in his name. So, it is very befitting that is Alma Mater Arizona State University has bestowed his namesake on their new Veterans Center that opened this past Tuesday.
The Arizona Republic noted: The center is creating a one-stop shop for military veterans to get help with their military benefits, carrier counseling and support transitioning to civilian life.
As one of the largest Universities in the United States ASU is home to many veterans furthering their education. Have graduated from the Arizona State, I can see how easy it can be to be just another number, especially with the ever expanding campus.
Have a place with resources that fit your individual needs as a veteran can really help cut out the red tape and get down to the information needed to make sure the t's are crossed and i's are dotted to receive the due financial aid.
