Girl Scouts Bring Joy to Gitmo

This is certainly not the typical load you see coming off a military supply truck. These soldiers and other Joint Task Force members at this Naval Station in Guantanamo Bay are going through the tough task of unloading over 5 tons of Girl Scout Cookies.

Don't know if any of these make their way to detainees as part of any retraining programs, but I am sure the troops are pleased with their fair share of Do-si-dos and Thin Mint rations. Maybe they could slip some of these into Havana for a good propaganda campaign. Many companies donate great food items to the military and we certainly think this gracious gift will boost morale.
