MultiCam Gets U.S. Air Force VIP Treatment

We thought this was a great photo of Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Roy in his MultiCam ACU. While we are sure it may not be intentional, the new Air Force Camouflage also got front row status at this meeting of Airmen to discuss deployment issues. Upon close inspection, the Airman in MultiCam to the far right even has VIP stamped on his badge. Quite befitting a catchy title. The obvious contrasting sea of Airmen to the rear will slowly but surely drop the digital tiger stripes at least where Afghanistan is concerned.

While the ABU with its Digital Tiger Stripe Patter doesn't seen to get nearly as much criticism as the ACU in Universal camouflage, there is plenty of consternation about it being ineffective in the Afghanistan terrain for OEF. While it is certainly unique in comparison, we are sure plenty of Airmen will not  mind matching up with the U.S. Army when it means taking on the new tested and proven Operation Enduring Freedom Camouflage Pattern.
