Woodland Camouflage Used in Afghanistan

Here is a great photo of the Afghan National Army (ANA) working with International Security Assistance Forces (ISAF), during a routine air drop. I thought this photo really stood out, as it is a good example of a side by side comparison of old vs. new.

The Afghan Army's uniform still consists of two woodland variants of camouflage. The jacket is their "old' standard US Woodland and the pants are the newer Afghan Forest Digital which was introduced to the ANA back in 2009. I would imagine all items will eventually turn over to the digital pattern.
