MultiCam Vs. A-TACS: Looking for a Side by Side?

As the new camouflage, A-TACS has a lot to live up to in competing with Crye Precision's MultiCam. For one it  has not been around nearly as long and does not have a government contract for great exposure. The Camo offered by DCS is also more towards the arid range in the current variant, as opposed to a universal design.

In any case I have seen a lot of comparisons and thought a quick side by side of the uniforms could help you decide which you prefer. We will definitely have to do some side by side field testing once the new ACU is out so we can get a real world example of the true concealment capabilities of each.

  1. When Digital Concealment Systems released their press release, 14 month ago, they stated: "A-TACS® is designed as a universal pattern for a wide range of operational environments with additional supporting color and design
variants to follow." I guess we're all still waiting.
I wouldn't be surprised if they decided to hold back any new color variants for the Army's Family of Patterns solicitation.

  2. I agree. I am sure they will be involved. They had a press release to the military over a year ago. Any camouflage design company will want military contracts anyway they can get them.
